I've always loved baking, and for years it's been a pipe dream of mine to one day own my own café/cupcake store. This blog is a way of expressing at least a bit of my baking obsession, and showcasing the fruits of my labours.

At the moment, I'm attempting weekly posts, each one showcasing recipes, photos, and anecdotes. These are basically the results of me challenging myself in the kitchen, and seeing what I'm capable of. Plus, they're delicious, so that's fun!

In the future, I'm hoping to aim a bit higher than my once-a-week posting, maybe featuring different tips, tools, and inspirations. Right now though, I'll settle for feeding myself (and the Boy!) and making you lovely readers drool all over your keyboards.

And who am I? I'm a 24-year-old recent college grad, with a currently useless English Lit degree. To bide my time until I move into the big city and start a teacher education program, I'm baking up a storm and filling my stomach with cookies and cupcakes. It's not really a tough life at all!
